Four brands on one digital platform with a single headless back office — giving the client managed content, a stable quality standard, a stronger SEO foundation, and the ability to scale without multiplying support costs.
The group wanted to modernize the web presence of four brands without blurring their positioning into one site where visitors struggle to figure out who does what. Instead of multiplying separate CMS instances and support teams, we built one digital platform: each brand has its own website with a distinct structure and dedicated landing pages tuned to its traffic intent, while content and governance rules are managed from a single center.
The client is a large German group in accounting services and business consulting that works with entrepreneurs and company leaders on both day-to-day operations and strategic decisions. Inside the group, four brands operate with different positioning and audiences. One focuses on accessibility and regional presence. Another serves the premium metropolitan segment with highly personalized support. The third is an insurance broker built around trust and long-term relationships. The fourth is a service structure that shares parts of the group's expertise across regions. The business goal was a single standard of digital quality and managed content — but with the brands kept clearly separated, so traffic could be routed into the right context and converted reliably into leads, demo requests, phone calls, and partner inquiries.
Moving from one website to four
A separate CMS for each brand would multiply the budget for support, updates, access rights, and team onboarding. The client needed one back office with strict content and responsibility isolation by brand.
Recurring content patterns
The brands needed similar entities — pages, services, news, contacts, SEO fields — but each required different emphasis, information architecture, and navigation logic. The data model had to stay shared while the presentation stayed brand-specific.
Content governance
With several teams editing content without publishing rules and status control, the result drifts fast: uneven quality, weak landing pages, improvised blocks, and conflicting messaging. Quality control had to be built into the process itself.
SEO as a distinct asset
Each brand had to build its own organic visibility and have landing pages tailored to its search intent. That meant clean URLs, controllable metadata, predictable indexing, and fast page speed.
Performance and eco
The client wanted not only a design refresh but also lightweight websites: minimalist presentation, optimized media, fewer unnecessary scripts, and controlled page weight — to reduce resource usage and improve UX in one move.
We built a shared core for the whole group and separate storefronts for each brand. In Directus, we set up one shared content model and one back office with strict product isolation. On the frontend, four independent Next.js sites. The key idea was a managed lead pipeline — separate landing pages for consultation, demo, call, and partnership flows, individually tuned per brand.
Shared Directus back office
We defined a common data model for pages, services, blocks, media, and SEO fields, and made "brand/site" a mandatory attribute on every record. Roles were configured so each team could access only its own site, while the central group team kept ownership of reference data and governance rules.
Separate Next.js sites with one shared content-management logic
The sites were built as independent frontends with their own brand identities and page structures, but tied to the same CMS integration rules and a single content-quality standard.
Moderation and publishing workflow
Content statuses, validations, and required fields for key pages keep the content clean and stop errors from reaching production.
Performance and eco as a technical standard
Media loading, critical rendering, and dependency weight were treated as measurable technical requirements, so pages stay fast on mobile and predictable in both weight and resource consumption.
SEO foundation for each website as a separate funnel
URL structures, metadata, and page templates were configured so each brand could build its own organic traffic and route paid traffic into the right context.
We started by working with the client team to define audiences, services, typical search intent, required landing pages, and the things that absolutely could not be mixed within one brand. At the same stage, we locked in the platform KPIs — leads, demo requests, initial calls, partner inquiries — so the solution stayed tied to measurable outcomes from day one.
+2 Resource
The four separate brand sites turned into managed lead funnels.
in leads for consultations and initial calls
demo or meeting requests across service lines
in partner inquiries
spent by content teams on updates and coordination
launch of new landing pages
across the board, with a measurable eco effect
