A move from a Wix builder to a managed e-commerce platform with fully automated order processing.
A relaunch of the Love&Loss cosmetics brand with a focus on a simple mobile purchase flow and a seamless two-way integration with the inventory system. The store had to feel like an extension of the brand — visitors pick a product, place the order, and pay online; the team receives the order inside the CRM with clear statuses and delivery-ready data for Nova Poshta.
Anna, the founder of Love&Loss, built the brand in 2019 around the idea of being yourself and a serious bar for production standards: strict requirements for safe ingredients and a clear no-animal-testing stance. A separate, equally important part of Anna's work is building a strong community through product education, lifestyle content, and expert collaborations.
Migration from a website builder
Content and catalog had to come off Wix without losing the assortment logic, the structure, or the quality of the product page.
Custom UI/UX
Cosmetics sell through visuals and trust. If the interface reads as a stock theme, the brand cheapens instantly. The project needed a custom design that mirrored the company's values.
Integrations
Orders had to move through the whole chain automatically: created in the store → pushed into SalesDrive with the right fields → prepared for Nova Poshta shipment → shown with statuses that make payment and shipping state obvious at a glance.
Online payments
In real life, payments sometimes fail, confirmations come back late, users press Back and retry. The system had to stop duplicate or missing orders from happening and handle each payment cleanly.
Video tutorials as part of the sale
The video had to explain how the product is used, show the expected result, and support the purchase decision — without dragging on page speed or feeling bolted onto the frontend.
We built Love&Loss on OpenCart 3 with a custom frontend aligned with the brand and a bespoke design. The store ships with a structured catalog and a product page that includes educational content, a clean checkout with online payment, and full integrations with SalesDrive and Nova Poshta.
Brand storefront
We built the store so it feels like one of Love&Loss's own products — its own typography, rhythm, cards, states, mobile-catalog behavior, and a predictable checkout.
Managed catalog and product page
We structured product pages around what shoppers actually look at: ingredients, effects, and how to use them. Video tutorials sit right inside the product page, while the page itself stays light and easy to scan.
SalesDrive integration
We push orders and customer data into the CRM and ERP chain in a structured format, so managers work with one complete record and never copy fields by hand.
Nova Poshta delivery
Shoppers get an accurate delivery picker at checkout — real branches, real availability — and the team gets ready-to-ship data with no clarification calls.
Clear payment and order statuses
Payment handling was set up to eliminate the "money came in, order didn't update" gap and to make sure retried attempts never spawn duplicates.
Migration from Wix
We transferred the structure and the logic of the previous site in a way that stayed familiar to the loyal audience, while moving the store into a far more controllable setup.
We started with a full inventory of the previous Wix site. We defined the real purchase flow and pinpointed where the brand was losing orders — catalog, product page, cart, checkout, payment, even post-purchase communication. We aligned early on what had to be preserved: the brand tone, the structure of the product presentation, the mobile-first scenario, and the list of critical functions on both the customer-facing and admin sides.
+2 Resource
After the redesign, Love&Loss kept serving a growing audience through a store that supports repeat purchases and takes operational friction out of order handling.
